Now This is Interesting.....

Perhaps the most exciting release in 40K for a decade....

Cult Marines and Cult Terminators!!!!! Not so interested in TS but perhaps it opens the way for future release of Emperor's Children and Death Guard models and rules.

So readers, get out and buy them. Make them successful.

Interest is stirring.

    2. Glad to see GW have moved to confirm leaks (with better, high-res official pics etc) pretty much as soon as they happen now.

  2. Not as exciting as rumoured plastic Adepta Sororitas!

  4. Hmmm great models. Disappointing though that GW seems to think you get 3.3 NZD for every GDP still. The privilege of living in NZ is paying 186% of the price you would in England.

    1. It is ridiculous. I feel sorry for the local GW Managers who have to deal with the reality. Once a gamer knows the dislocated pricing any major purchase relies on wilful ignorance or a need to have it straight away.

There clearly is a downside related to the pricing. I know I would buy everything thru local GW stores if premium was limited to 20-25%. But out of principle I refuse to pay more other than for small purchases and limited edition items.

In the early 2000s I was spending NZD 3000-5000 per annum at GW NZ stores (benefit of 25 years of computerised bank records), in the last ten years my spending would struggle to pass $500 per annum (mainly paint and must have static grass).

    2. Yes it must be a hard sale for local stores. For my part it has mostly driven me into the arms of competitors. Corvus Belli, Kromlech, Avatars of War, Titan Forge & even the newer Mantic lines are getting the majority of my model spend these days. Army painter is getting most of the supply purchase on the other front. On the occasion I do buy GW it will be imported.

  5. Sadly I was informed today that there will be crippling stock shortages of these in NZ & Australia, so only a relative few will get to "go out & buy them'
