Hobby Update

None of my own hobby this week, I've been reduced to family dogsbody.

  • Painting Bloodletters and Khorne Herald
  • Bases for the same
  • Bases for 30 Corsairs
  • Movement trays for Black Guard and Corsairs
While all this goes on, my five Deathshroud Terminators lie forlornly half painted on my painting desk. Once this weekend is over they will move up the pecking order, followed by finishing off Vampire Counts before moving to WoC.

    1. Metal or plastic - Mine are all the axe wielding bestial 6th Ed models

    2. Plastic, so they took f'ing ages to assemble (8 parts each at least). I prefer the new letters.

  2. I have a Chimera converted up on my desk ready for paint .Don't have any of the monster options in any of my WoC armies so thinking two Chimera and maybe getting a pile of trolls .

    1. I have a Nurgle WoC army and just need to add to it for the new book. I'm also going to add Trolls, possibly a Chimera but no non-Nurgle Marks

    2. I have a start of a nurgle WOC army as well (avatars of war ones) and am staying pure Nurgle as well for my WOC... well the first army anyways.

  3. Sounds like Nurgle is becoming flavour of the month with the new book, and rightly so, it seams to have benifited. Your cat will approve Pete

    1. Curses! Rumbled.

What I find slightly amazing is that some people really appreciating that for a given set of parameters builds will gravitate to a norm.

This is why it is so important to have an evolving meta through new army books, new units and new armies. I think that one of the more refreshing things for the scene has been the introduction of Chaos Dwarfs as an accepted army.

    2. Yeah, At least the chaos dwarfs look cooler than normal dwarfs turtling in a corner.

    3. Sorry that sentence should read "What I find slightly amazing is that some people really have trouble appreciating that....."
