WIP - Printable Scenery's Tavern

I have had Printable Scenery's Tavern sitting on my desk for the last 3-4 months. It was printed on my 3-D printer earlier in the year.

With the weather shite today, I took the opportunity to paint up the piece ready for the battlefield.

The tavern just needs to be based and I'll try to get it done this week. It needs a little bit of drybrushing as well as some ivy on the outside.

Really happy with how it came up.

  1. Hi Peter,

As you've had the Wanhao Duplicator i3 v2 for a while now I would be keen to know your thoughts on it. I'm considering picking one up myself.

Also, how have you found the XTC-3D for finishing?

    Cheers.

    1. Shawn,

The Wanhao is the only printer I've used so I have no frame for comparison. However I found it very easy to use and if it helps it was recommended to me by the producer of the models I'm using. It seems very economical in terms of PLA.

The XTC-3D made a noticeable difference. I'll be using it for all my future prints.

      Pete
