Over the past couple of weeks I have been speaking to members of the committee of my local club, the Wellington Warlords.
They are keen to build their membership and in particular encourage more gaming at the club. Over the past few years, attendance at club meetings has dropped as people have got busier or have found gaming alternatives.
The key thing is to provide people a reason to come to the club - and here it is! The 2016 Warlords KoW Super Series.
Over 2016 I will be running four one day events at the Warlords. These will be four round 2000 point events. The dates are as follows:
- February 20
- May 7
- July 16
- October 15
These will be open events with an entry cost of $25 per event.
However if you are a FULL Warlords member then these will be FREE.
The cost of a full Warlords membership for 2016 is $50 so not only do you gain half price entry (if you go to all four) you also get access to the club's 28 meetings over the course of the year. Now that's a great deal by anyone's reckoning.
