This year when Nicon did offer a Kings of War event I decided to run it on the June Holiday Weekend (this Saturday).
I thought the extra day off might attract increased numbers but that wasn't the case. We have managed to get 8 attendees, five backing up from last weekend's Warlords Super Series.
Unlike last week where there was a lot of double ups on armies, Runefang will see seven different races:
- Forces of Nature x2
- Forces of the Abyss
- Varangur
- Orcs
- Goblins
- Undead
- Ratkin

I'm picking that it will be a hardfought event.
No Herd, Elves, or Twilight Kin? I do see the Nightstalkers snuck in there.
ReplyDeleteI used Herd a couple of weeks ago at our last event but wanted to give Rats a run. Elves used to be very popular locally but have dropped away recently. We do play with no hills in DZ which may impact.
DeletePersonally think the TK are very underrated. Suspect the quasi status is what puts some off. NS? I've bought the models but been distracted rebasing existing armies.
