So this looks like Tau, Eldar and Orks. The Tau has been rumoured Orks and Eldar, not so much.

ReplyDeleteBetter save my pennies. At the current rate of codex inflation the Eldar one should be $108.00NZD when it arrives...
I've heard plenty of stuff about Eldar being on the way (its been flipping between them and Tau as the next non Imperial codex after Chaos), but then as an Eldar player I tend to look around for it more I guess. If we believe this list there are at least 6 completely new units coming (most of which are dual kits with existing units, which means a heap of new models overall) plus a bunch of characters, which is the kind of serious kick in the pants the Eldar codex needs to bring it back to life. I don't care who does it, as long as its not just a copy paste job like the current one is.

There are Cabal references turning up in the HH books - advising Alpha Legion - which would indicate that it predates the Genestealer Cults. That presupposes that it is the same Cabal :-)
ReplyDeleteI'd love them to bring back the Craftworlds - my Ulthwe and Iyanden lists were neutered (in terms of being able to field them) under the current book.
And the Ork stuff looks great - love to see the Klan fort
